The PMC661 is a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) card designed to offer maximum 100/10Mbit Ethernet connectivity. Using 100Base-TX the PMC661 is capable of full duplex operation in both 100 and 10 Mbit modes. PMC660 Ethernet/PCI engine includes a powerful DMA engine with very deep FIFO buffers. This assures continuous, full bandwidth operation with minimum PCI overhead. Auto-Negotiation. The PMC661 features full auto- negotiation facility allowing automatic configuration to the highest possible operating mode. This includes the option for automatic determination of both bandwidth and full duplex operation.
